This is a pixel art animation that Jude created for WWE featuring pro wrestler Braun Strowman.

Project Goals

Braun Strowman has a reputation for smashing up giant vehicles, so WWE wanted to lean into that by using pixel art to pay homage to the classic “Bonus Rounds” from early '90s fighting games—those iconic scenes where you beat up a car for extra points.

Project Realization

Jude crafted a dynamic pixel art animation of Braun flipping a truck, which WWE turned into an interactive Instagram Story. By uploading each frame individually, WWE allowed fans to tap through and simulate controlling the movement—like a retro game brought to life.

Creative Process

Drawing on childhood memories of smashing cars in Street Fighter II at the local arcade, Jude used Instagram’s tap-to-advance feature to give fans a nostalgic, interactive experience—blending classic gaming nostalgia with interactive storytelling in a fresh, digital format.
